We will miss you John Biasini, ol'
MOFO_EST I
still find it hard to accept you are gone. I miss you Angel
- Jimi Hendrix
Angel come down from heaven
yesterday
She stayed with me just long enough for afternoon tea
And she tell me a story yesterday,
about the love between the moon and the deep blue sea
And when it was time for her to go
she spread her wings high over me
and she said "I shall return tomorrow"
And I said "Fly on my sweet angel,
fly on through the sky,
fly on my sweet angel,
tomorrow I'll be with you by my side"
And Sure enough, this morning she comes to me
With silver wings silhouetted
against the globe of the child's sunrise
And as the bluebirds and the sparrows envy me
She says "I love you little boy,
but today you shall fly"
She kissed me once,
and the feeling's so good, she made me cry
And now, we can fly together
And I said "fly on my sweet angel,
fly on through the sky,
fly on my sweet angel,
together we shall always be alive"
MOFO_EST and rICo Anthem
(Fat Bottom Girls - Queen)
ooooooh
You gonna take me home
tonight!
ooooooh
down beside that red
firelight
ooooooh
you gonna let it all hang
out
FAT BOTTOM GIRLS you make
the rockin' world go round!
Hey!!
I was
just a skinny lad
Never knew no good from bad
But I knew life before I left my nursery - huh
Left alone with big fat Fanny
She was such a naughty nanny
Heep big woman you made a bad boy out of me!!
Hey hey!
Woooooh!!
I've been singing with my band
Across the wild across the land
I seen every blue eyed floozy on the way, hey
But their beauty and their style
Went kind of smooth after a while
Take me to them dirty ladies every time!
C'mon
ooooooh
Won't you take me home
tonight?
ooooooh
down beside your red
firelight
ooooooh
and you give it all you've
got
FAT BOTTOM GIRLS you make
the rockin' world go round!
FAT BOTTOM GIRLS you make
the rockin' world go round!
Hey listen here!
Now I got mortgages on homes
I got stiffness in ma' bones
Ain't no beauty queens in this locality (I tell you)
Oh but I still get my pleasure
Still got my greatest treasure
Heep big woman you done made a big man out of me
Now get this
ooooooh(I know)

please?
ooooooh
down beside that red firelight

FAT BOTTOM GIRLS you make
the rockin' world go round!

won't be the last
and the wind whispers, John
John's life passed us by like
a warm summer day
and when I hear the wind blow
I still can hear him play December 23, 2002
Some thoughts of John
I was reading through all the nice comments at Dave's
memorial to John and
one post in particular caught my attention. It was written by Ronnie
Crouch and I think it very accurately and eloquently encapsulates how John
touched so many people in the UT community, as well as to the how and why John's
passing has touched so many of us out here. I was speaking to Domingo
Guzman a couple of days ago and he rightly reminded me, as John would have
done so, behind every keyboard out there is a living breathing human being
with feelings just like yourself and to treat them as you would have them
treat you. I want to wish the Biasini family a very Merry Christmas in the
midst of this great loss. This December is the most bittersweet December I
can recall in that we have lost a good friend, yet we can take what we have
learned from John, and use it in everyday life to reach out to the ones we
love, now, while we have the chance. I will always love and remember you,
John Biasini
The Following was written by Ronnie:
I knew John but a short while. But, through our
association together playing UT and more importantly, through the forums,
I came to understand John. As many have offered before me I must agree
that John was quick to offer a brighter side to situations that others
only found to be dark. His years offered a deeper wisdom than most. He
personally took an interest in new players coming to the clan and forums.
His words were kind and genuine. More often than not, he brought a smile
to our faces and to our hearts. His time was our time. Quite often John
would ask for your number so that he could speak directly with you albeit
on his nickel. I can't recall a single instance where he had a cross word
to say of anyone on the forum even though the opportunity presented itself
on numerous occasions. It just wasn't his nature. John was, for the most
part, above that type of behavior. He refused to stoop to pettiness. He
was, in the strictest sense of the term, "A true friend." His word like
his heart was gold. If I may offer this passage, I hope no one is
offended. Psalms.23 [1] The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. [2] He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still
waters. [3] He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for his name's sake. [4] Yea, though I walk through the
valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. [5] Thou preparest a table before
me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my
cup runneth over. [6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the
days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. We
all know where John's new home is now.....all the rest of our days. God
bless John's family and peace be with you all...Amen

And also if I may, I give you this poem, from Jeff Vititoe:
I want to play and soar and dream.
Fly above the fields until I am free.
No pain, no sorrow and no fear,
Can touch me now that I am here.
Breathe in the breeze and feel the sun,
Across my face, I run and run!!!
I play and laugh among the trees.
Alive! Alive! I breathe! I breathe!
With legs so strong, I run so fast;
The world just smiles as I go past.
Sweet laughter bubbles up inside,
For freedom long denied, denied.
No tears, no pain, remembered here.
I’ve been released from all my fears,
To run and laugh until the day
When all bad things have passed away.
